Women’s entrepreneurship is rising, but gaps remain. Women remain 20% less likely than men to start a business. Meanwhile, women were almost 50% more likely than men to exit a business due to family or personal reasons, underscoring the need for policies that help women balance entrepreneurship and caregiving. These are among the many findings featured in the GEM 2024/2025 Women's Entrepreneurship Report - Navigating Challenges, Driving Change.
The report launched on 19 November with a special webinar on the key takeaways and what policymakers can do to sustain momentum for women entrepreneurs while tackling persistent barriers.
